Giuseppe Cervi
Giuseppe Cervi (brother of Otello Cervi, a trumpet-player in the Gorni Kramer orchestra) made this guitar on 1959. He made 12 guitars, then he died. Clearly inspired to Wandrè’s Spatial, but all the parts are original and hand-made. The neck and the headstock are made in aluminum covered by wood. The body is hollow with the top on mahogany and the bottom in laminate-wood (trilam). Pick-up and pickguard Davoli. The bridge is a made in german manufact (wood, metal and plastic). It’s evident that Wandrè had admirers already in the ’50!
